Post-it Recycled Notes {Review/Giveaway}
My problem at home has been this… I write something down to remember on a scrap piece of paper, put that down on my desk and there it gets lost in the shuffle. The scrap piece of paper is exactly that… scrap printer paper that is no longer needed, so instead of trashing it I reuse it for the blank backside. Not exactly the sparkle in my organizing dream, but it is green and was sort of working… well with the exception of me having to search all over the place for my notes, since they were never in one spot.
In my quest to become greener at home I thought that using Post-it’s would be out of the question. I continued to think that way until I found out that there is a new line of Post-It’s available and they are made from 100% recycled paper with 30% of that coming from post-consumer content!! What I though was even cooler was that you can buy them with two different degrees of stickiness – regular and super sticky… which is perfect for sticking them to, oh lets say… a computer monitor!!
The great Post-it people over at 3M were kind enough to send me some samples of both the Post-it Recycled Notes and the Post-it Super Sticky Recycled Notes. The colors were great… the Post-it Recycled Notes came in a nice set of pastel colors (yellow, green, pink and blue) and the Post-it Super Sticky Recycled Notes came in Nature’s Hues (again a great assortment of colors… blue, green, red and purple). I put the notes to use right away… my upcoming tooth extraction (I am getting all 4 wisdom teeth pulled!!) was written onto one and stuck to… yup, my monitor… blog post ideas were brainstormed, grocery lists made and stuck to my wallet. Now the only thing I have to worry about is making sure that I write down whatever it is that I need to remember correctly!! I’m already one step closer to being more organised!! =)
Would you like to get the chance to try out the new line for yourself? Are you a paper clutter freak like I am? Well, here’s your chance to change that. I’m giving 3 lucky readers the chance to each win a set of both the Post-it Recycled Notes and the Post-it Super Sticky Recycled Notes!!! All you need to do to enter is go here and then come back and tell me something I didn’t already mention about the new Post-it line. This contest will run until 11:59 pm CST on 5/31/09 and the winners names will be chosen through random.org

{If you have ever been to my home, are related to me in any way shape or form or have ever worked with me, then sorry you’ll have to try to win this somewhere else =) I would also like to say thank you to 3M for giving me this opportunity!!}

They also have a pack of paper that kids can draw on and stick to the wall, without causing damage. My kids would love. They are always making signs when they play store and the stickers they use stay on the wall until I get something to scrub it off:)
I also saw they had craft paper, but It wouldn't open up:(
Yup, still have your button:)
