Ahhhh Harry… what can I say I’m a sucker for you! You are so easy to listen to when you sing and you’re easy on the eyes in the movies you star in… so why would I not want to review your most recent CD – Your Songs – when given the opportunity to do so?

In Your Songs, Harry Connick Jr sings timeless and classic songs that probably already have a special place in many of our hearts. I really liked the selection of songs that made it onto the CD. With his smooth voice and the band playing in the background, this is not only a CD that is easy on the ears, but also perfect (at least I think so) for that night when all you want is to sit in a dim candle lit room with either the one you love or a good book. The only song that I had a hard time getting used to hearing Harry sing was Can’t Help Falling In Love With You… that song to me is perfect only when Elvis sings it… sorry!

If you are a Harry Connick Jr fan, I think this CD is one that you may want to add to your collection. Even if you’re not a Harry Connick Jr fan (yet), this CD is definitely worth listening to in my opinion. All of the songs are classics that have been sung beautifully and who knows, you may just find yourself singing along with them too before it’s over.
