OK, we’ll try this once more before giving up.

Hi Michaela! I’ve typed this same comment 4 times and it doesn’t register. I have 2 things to comment on. The first is, when were you in Germany? I spent 1977-78 in West Berlin, (when it was WEST Berlin). I absolutely loved it.

I was shocked when I saw your Sammi. I thought I was looking at a picture of my “Taffy”. Honestly, they could have passed for twins. Taffy passed away in 2003. She died at the age of 17 years old. We had had her since she was 6 weeks old. It was so hard to lose her. We have no children, so it hit us extra hard. My hubby won’t even let me get another dog.

I’m so sorry about your Sammie (I have a Sammy too, he’s all black the reverse of your Sammie) Loosing a fur baby is so hard. I am sure you still expect to see Sammie coming to greet you! Sammie is gorgeous and what a lucky pup to have you as his Mommy!

Ah, what a sweet little face. Pets are such a huge part of my family and I just dread the day when we lose one of our three dogs. There’s nothing wrong with being sad over the loss of Sammie, but it’s also a wonderful time to remember all the happy moments!
