Aveeno Baby Review

Hi and welcome! If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. You can also find me tweeting here. I hope you enjoy your stay and thanks for visiting!

I like new products… I like trying out new products… I love when those products are made by companies I already love.Ā  I recently got to try out Aveeno Baby Essential Moisture Shampoo and Aveeno Baby Soothing Relief Diaper Rash Cream thanks to the good folks over at BzzAgent (as a BzzAgent I am sent free stuff in order to try them out and spread the word about it).

I love the Aveeno products, Ray and I have been using Aveeno lotion for the past few years. It’s the only lotion we buy… all year round, not just in the winter. So when I saw that I was being given the chance to try out some of their baby products, I jumped at it. I’ve been using the shampoo on Noah for the past few weeks now and I have to say that I love it. It leaves his hair smelling good and also leaves it nice and soft and I don’t feel like I need to use some sort of conditioner on it afterward (he doesn’t have much hair, but his hair is course). The only thing that I don’t like is that it comes out of the bottle very quickly, often giving me more than I need for his little head of hair, other than that I am in love with the shampoo!

I didn’t think that I would have a need to try out the diaper rash cream, but some guacamole proved me wrong. It went in and out of him and left a sore, red little butt in its wake. I grabbed my sample of the Aveeno Baby Soothing Relief Diaper Rash Cream and put some on my finger… the first thing I noticed… there was no smell to it! I thought that was great! While the normal rash creams smell wasn’t overpowering, it did exist and that would bother me at times. The diaper rash cream went on smooth and did what it was supposed to. I only had to use it twice (once before bedtime and once the next morning) and the redness was gone. Once again, I was impressed!

Overall, I would say that my high expectations for Aveeno Baby (based on my experience with other Aveeno products) was met. I would (and probably will) buy both of these products once my samples are gone.

{I was sent the products mentioned above to review for free. I was given no other compensation. The review is written based on my opinion. To see my full disclosure policy, please go here}

    I love the smell of their products. “Baby powder” scent makes me naseaus, so this is such a nice change. And I don’t find it overly scented. I know a few people who use Aveeno Baby products and wouldn’t use anything else now.
