POM Wonderful Review

14 January 2010 3 Comments

Thanks for stopping by again! I look forward to reading your thoughts. Did you know that I also tweet?

Pomegranates are a wonderful thing… and yet… I hate to admit that the first time I actually ate a pomegranate seed was just a few short weeks ago. If you’ve never eaten them before, I highly recommend it! It’s work, but well worth it.

If however, you prefer to get your fruits in liquid form (like I do – less work and still so good!) POM Wonderful has a great pomegranate juice out in the stores! I was lucky enough to have a case sent to me to try out… and let me just say this… YUM!!

The juice arrived late last week and after letting it chill for a little while, I poured myself a glass. It was a little tart, a little sweet and all good! The best part (IMO), is that it is all natural, 100% pomegranate juice and comes from California pomegranates. There are no added sugars, preservatives or colors. It is something that I would not only drink myself (and I am right now as I’m typing this), but I would also give it to Noah to drink.

I knew that pomegranates were healthy, but what I didn’t know is that they have more antioxidants than a glass of red wine or concord grape juice. There are lots of other benefits to the juice, like improved blood flow to the heart and a decrease in arterial plaque among other things that you can read about on POM Wonderful’s site

All in all, I’m happy that I was able to try this juice. I love juice, but I find it hard to find good juice that is all natural with nothing added to it. I had seen these cute round little bottles in the store before, but never really paid much attention to them. I know that I will be now!

{I was sent the product mentioned above to review for free. I was given no other compensation. The review is written based on my opinion. I am not a doctor, if you have health problems or questions it is recommended you speak to your physician. To see my full disclosure policy, please go here}

    I buy the Pom juice and add it to water to tone down the tartness…you get the nutrients and makes water yummy!!

    I’ve started doing the same! I water down all of my fruit juices since I tend to drink so much of it It helps the juice last longer too.
