Dapper Snappers {Review}
Those of you who have been following along with this blog and with Noah’s growth, know that he is a tall, skinny little thing. He’s in the 70th percentile for height, but only the 30th for weight… so while he looks like a little chunky monkey to me, the stats say otherwise.
The problem that we have with him being a skinny kid is that his pants will often fit him in length, but not in the waist… he has so many jeans that are huge on him in the waist. For the longest time, I was stumped as to what to do to fix that problem. I would roll over the waist of him pants, but that wouldn’t really work. I layered his clothes… that didn’t really work either. I let his pants be, just the way they fit him and would just go and pull them up on him… time after time after time after time… that got to be annoying.
Then I heard about Dapper Snappers… and thought “hmmm… maybe that’s the solution”. Thanks to both Mom Made That and Dapper Snappers I was able to review one to see how they work… and I am in love! Dapper Snappers are an adjustable elastic band that snaps in the back belt loops of a toddlers pants. You can adjust them to the size needed to keep the pants up. A great thing about them is that because they are on the back of the pants, there’s no extra fumbling to get them off if you’re potty training (which I have decided we will be doing next week during spring break)!
We put the Dapper Snapper through the ultimate toddler test… we had Noah in a pair of large waisted jeans with the Dapper SnapperDapper Snapper
and sent him to play in the mall’s play zone. He ran, climbed, jumped, slid and had a grand ol’ time… and his pants never once had to be pulled up! I’m a fan and I am so glad that a product like this is out there! I just wish that I had heard about them sooner!!
