A Mother’s Boutique {Review}

I am a nursing mom… there I said it. I nursed Noah until my milk ran dry when he was 14 / 15 months old and I was pregnant with Abby. I plan on nursing Abby at least that long… hopefully longer if she’ll let me. I love nursing my babies… I love the bonding time and the ease of not having to deal with bottles and formula… it’s one less thing that I could forget when we go out.
That said, I’ve never really bought any specific clothing (apart from nursing bra’s) that would make nursing easier. I always just hiked up my shirt and let the kids go to town (while covering them and me with a blanket for discretion). Recently though I was given the chance to review a dress for nursing moms and I have to admit that it is easier to nurse with!
I was sent the Kate dress from A Mother’s Boutique. This dress is great not only for mom’s like me who are nursing, but also for moms to be. I liked that it flowed over the not-yet-back-to-it’s-prebaby-shape-belly without clinging to it. I’m sure that I’m not the only new mom that is self conscious about her looks and I loved that the dress addressed that concern. I can see myself wearing this dress quite a bit this summer, I just need to find the right shoes to help dress it down for a more kid/toddler friendly everyday look.
If you are expecting or nursing I suggest checking out A Mother’s Boutique… they not only have a huge selection of nursing and maternity clothing but also carry slings, covers, breastfeeding accessories and much more.
