Bruised {Foto Friday}

I woke up the other morning to find that my arm felt sore, like it was bruised. I looked, but didn’t see any marks so I just sort of forgot about it until latter in the day when I saw this:
I couldn’t figure out how I could have gotten such a big bruise… especially one that looked like I had been grabbed extremely hard. I knew that it hadn’t been Ray, but he was the one that actually figured it out…
The bruises matched perfectly to Noah’s hand. He must have grabbed me while I was sleeping and I never noticed… I guess that’s one of the dangers of having a child crawl into bed with you!

Whoa! He is strong for a little guy:) Lindsey used to bite me and leave me these huge and ugly bruises that lasts for weeks. Kids…

I know! Who’d have thought it, but his fingers fit there perfectly! Oh, bites are the worst! I’m glad that he’s not a biter.

Ohhh….ouch! Poor little guy, he was probably holding on for dear life for some reason.
My (almost) step kids almost kill me, as they get bigger,and don’t realize how badly it hurts when they JUMP, legs out, on top of me. Ooof!

You know… the more that I think about it, I think I’ve come to the conclusion that it happened while I was trying to get him to go back to bed in the middle of the night. He doesn’t like to sleep alone in his room and puts up quite a fight to have me either stay in there with him or have him come with me in my bed.
It does hurt when they jump on you… he’s just a toddler, I’d hate to be in your shoes with older ones jumping like that!

They are stronger than they look, aren’t they! I never would have imagined that a toddler could leave bruises so easily but I get them sometimes just from Jackson holding on to me so tight if he is scared!
