Sooooo…. Monday was a fairly warm day here in the chilly Midwest… wait for it… it the temp got into the mid/high 30’s!!! I know what you’re going to ask… did we put on our shorts and go out?
Meet George…
We were watching the pre-Opening Ceremony show and I just had to get some photo’s of Noah. He was in such a good (and playful) mood and since I hadn’t taken any of him since turning 18 months old, I thought now was a good time!

I couldn’t help but post these… this is Noah almost 1 year ago (Jan 30th, 09). He was drooling because he was cutting his first teeth and we were having fun playing in the loft with his toys. Funny that 1 year later things aren’t much different… he’s still cutting teeth and we will be upstairs playing in the loft soon! 
Can you find my toes??? I can’t seem to see them when I look down, I hope they’re still there, though I’m not quite sure that they are in the best shape right now… hello pedicure?!?!
We had our 27/28 week appointment this Wednesday. Besides getting to drink the lovely orange crush flavored glucose drink, we were also given the chance to see our little girl again. Yes… we did double check to make sure she’s still a girl… call us paranoid! The doctors want to have 2 extra ultrasounds to check her growth, since Noah had problems with that
Ray took some photo’s of Noah the other day for us to use in our Christmas cards (that I still need to design and send!! I promise myself I will work on this today because my prior deadline that I set was the 15th – oops!!) Noah was in such a great mood and was being a bit of a ham, so I thought I would post one of the pictures that we decided mot to use, but one that I still really like.
Noah had his first real day out int he snow on Tuesday. He wasn’t quite sure what to do with it at first, but after a few minutes he started squealing with delight at the white stuff. Here’s one of him looking at me right as we went outside. I think the look on his face says it all… “What are we doing out here!?!”
Emotionally, today has been a hard day. I’ve been thinking about what happened a year ago today for… well… I’ve thought about it at some time or other almost every day for the past year. There are days where it’s easier and others where it’s not. Today fell into the latter category.
