Here we are, the night before turkey day 2011. Ray has the week off and the kids and I are enjoying being able spend a lot of time with him! To be quite honest, I’m also enjoying the extra pair of hands at home since he was gone for four days last week and the littlest Krause to be seems to be draining me of most of my energy right now!

Noah has a few taekwondo classes under his belt now. So far, he’s been there 3 times and loves it. He looks so adorable in his little uniform (yes I am biased). It’s soooo big on him… I rolled the sleeves, pant legs, waist and pulled the shirt up with the belt in order to make it fit… it’s a hack job but it works!!! =)

Now that I have that song stuck in my head I thought that I might pass it on to you… did it work?

So this little man had his first Taekwondo class this week!!! I took him to a trial lesson to see how he would like it, and he LOVED it!! I figured he would, since he loves playing karate with his daddy. He was the youngest in his class , but he did so well and even broke his first board!!! =)

Halloween was a little over a week ago and I am just now getting to posting to it. In my defense, it took Ray a few days to process the RAW files so that I could use them. As I type this, my husband is sleeping on the sofa next to me and my two little rug rats are up in their room.

Five years ago Ray and I had only been seeing each other for 9 months. We knew very quickly that this thing that we had going on was more than just a “thing”. I think I may have mentioned it before, but I knew within two weeks of dating him that he was the man that I was going to marry.

Is is just me, or did this week feel like the.longest.week.ever!!! Wow! It was only Tuesday and I could have sworn it was Thursday already. And while the first few days felt like they just dragged on, in reality it passed by pretty quickly.

One of the main reasons why I started sewing the Toddler Totes is that I wasn’t finding any “boy approved” totes. The kids and I started visiting the library on a more regular basis a few months ago. Shortly thereafter Noah wanted a his own library tote. I’m sure that I could have just given him a plain canvas bag and he would have been fine with that, but I wanted something a little more special for him.

The bags have been ready and waiting patiently while I’ve been working my way through line after line of code, trying to get everything to look the way that I would like it to… and while there are still some tweaks and adjustments to be made, I’m happy with the changes that have been made so far and am ready to open up the shop!!
